SPECIALTIES

My Specialties

Trauma, attachment, and relational wounds

I work with individuals and families impacted by trauma, including developmental, relational, and complex trauma. Therapy centers on how early and ongoing relational experiences shape attachment, emotional responses, and patterns in the present. The focus is on building understanding, safety, and more secure ways of relating to self and others over time.

Emotional and nervous system regulation

Many clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally depleted, often without clear insight into what’s driving these experiences. I help clients understand how trauma and attachment experiences affect the nervous system and emotional regulation, and support steadier, more grounded ways of responding to stress and relational triggers.

Family, parenting, and co-parenting therapy

I support parents and co-parents in strengthening communication, boundaries, and responsiveness within their family relationships. This work focuses on attachment, emotional attunement, and creating interactions that support both the child’s needs and the adults’ capacity to show up with clarity and intention.

Frequently asked questions

  • I take both insurance and private pay. Please schedule a free consultation or email contact@sacredwillowtherapy.org to discuss further.

    For private pay clients:

Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement consideration. If you choose to pursue reimbursement, a mental health diagnosis is required, as mandated by insurance companies.

  • Private-pay therapy allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and clinical discretion. It reduces the need for insurance-driven diagnoses and supports more individualized, trauma-informed care without external limitations on the therapeutic process.

  • Individual therapy sessions are $275 for 55 minutes. Family and parenting/co-parenting therapy sessions are $300 for 55 minutes. Payment is handled through a secure client portal. We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • I work with individuals ages 12 and older, as well as families, parents, and co-parents.

  • Trauma-informed therapy is paced intentionally and shaped around your needs and capacity. Some sessions may focus on understanding patterns or building skills, while others involve deeper reflection. There is no expectation to move faster than feels manageable, and we regularly check in to ensure the work feels steady, supportive, and aligned with your goals.

  • Therapy at Sacred Willow typically begins with weekly sessions to support consistency, safety, and depth in trauma-informed work. Session frequency may be adjusted over time as appropriate, through collaborative treatment planning.

  • Clients are allowed up to three no-fee cancellations within a twelve-month period while actively engaged in therapy. After these courtesy cancellations are used, late cancellations and missed sessions are subject to the full session fee, as outlined in the practice policies.

  • All sessions are currently offered via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth to clients located throughout California.

  • Yes. Therapy is confidential and protected by state and federal privacy laws. The limits of confidentiality are reviewed in detail during the intake process.

  • The first step is scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This allows us to briefly connect and explore whether working together feels aligned.
